The BIGFF is a Genre Film Festival established in Hannover (Germany) in 2019. The festival is founded and run only by two people: Wiebke and Johannes Thomsen, the two owners and operators of the award-winning LODDERBAST movie theater in Hannover, with 24 seats on 39 squaremeters the smallest movie theater in the world and one of a kind with a hand-selected craft beer collection and homemade food. The festival defines "genre" as a forward-thinking and experimental interpretation of traditional film genres. Starting on 28.05.2022 (new dates!) the Bastalavista is conquering the LODDERBAST movie theater for 15 days and more than 50 screenings, showcasing a varied selection of contemporary international genre films.
